Home Care Packages on the Upper North Shore
If you hold a Home Care Package, or you are moving to Support at Home, we can help you direct that funding toward considered, nurse-led care at home across Ku-ring-gai.
What is a Home Care Package?
A Home Care Package is government-subsidised funding, assigned to you, that helps pay for support to live at home, including nursing, personal care, household help and getting out and about.
The Australian Government has been bringing home care funding under a new program called Support at Home. Whether you hold an existing Home Care Package or come through Support at Home, the intent is the same, which is funded support to keep living well at home.
How do I use my package with you?
You tell us your package level or funding, and we turn it into genuine support. We explain what it covers, build a nurse-led plan around it, and keep everything transparent so you always know where your funding is going.

What can a package pay for?
Typically nursing, personal care, help with daily living, some household help, equipment and transport, depending on your plan. We will set out exactly what applies to you.
Can I combine my package with private care?
Yes, and many of our clients do. A package can fund core support while private hours add extra care, companionship or flexibility. We make the arrangement seamless.

What if I am still waiting for a package?
There is no need to wait for support. Many clients begin privately while their funding is arranged, then transition across once it is approved.

Can I move my package to you?
In most cases, yes. If your current arrangement is not meeting expectations, we can explain how changing provider works and whether it suits you.

Will I have anything to pay out of pocket?
That depends on your funding and any contributions relevant to your circumstances. We always make the figures clear in writing before you commit.
